The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences

Is pleased to announce the availability of a
$10,000 Jim McKay Memorial Scholarship

For an outstanding high school senior who intends to pursue a baccalaureate degree in communication with emphasis on any aspect of the television industry.

This Scholarship, which honors the legendary sportscaster and journalist Jim McKay, will be awarded to a college-bound applicant who has demonstrated exceptional talent as a creator of video programming as well as outstanding academic achievement and potential for success in a highly competitive profession.

ELIGIBILITY:

      1.)  Open to high school seniors who intend to major in a communications-related degree at a four-year college or
             university.

      2.)  Must be a legal resident of the United States.

      3.)  Must have college board scores (ACT or SAT) to report as part of the application process.

TO APPLY:

      1.) Download an application from the academy website:

      2.) Complete the application and make four printed copies. Mail all four copies to:

3. Application forms must be post marked by February 1, 2010.
